Q - Many professionals in the recruitment market still don’t understand the multi posting concept, what would be your advice to those looking at it for the first time?

A - First of all, I’d recommend that they take a look at our site; on it we explain exactly what posting is and detail the other services that we provide. But at its simplest level, we take the job that you want to fill and have written copy for and then send it to the job boards that you want to place it on. Whether that’s one job board or ten - we can handle that with just one click.

Q - The recruitment tech market is constantly developing. Do you foresee any changes within multi-posting in the next few years?

A - Yes, particularly in the area of social media. We started focusing on posting to job boards, the aggregators. But today, demand is for us to post to the career site and social channels etc... We are a multi posting business and in the future, we won’t just post jobs but content of all types.

Q - What are the benefits of using multi-posting technology?

A - The key benefits are as follows:

  • Time + Efficiencies = cost savings
  • Manage your brand and content across many channels consistently
  • Measure your response rates = better channel management = cost savings
  • Q - Social media is playing an increasingly bigger role in recruitment advertising, have you noticed any trends in this area?

A - Absolutely, this plus the use of aggregators has been the biggest % growth area, it started with Twitter but today our clients want to post on to Facebook, LinkedIn and as I said the aggregators. I see this trend continuing.

Q - New job boards arrive daily, what advice would you give to anyone considering setting up a new Board?

A - Be realistic, be social, add value, know your audience and don’t expect to be the next Monster in a year... the competition is fierce.
